Pick a few locations/environments that you love and want for your photos. From there, we can create a schedule together that works for your timeline.
In total, we'd love to spend around 30 minutes with the bridal party and up to 1.5 hrs with the couple. This allows the experience to not feel rushed, while receiving a variety of photos for you to enjoy.
The portrait session (including bridal party) can be done before or after the ceremony, or even both. We typically start off with bridal party photos, and then end off with the bride/groom for some more intimate photos with just the couple.
Portrait locations
Some considerations:
- Choose locations based off your style and preferences (e.g. urban vs nature vs rustic etc.)
- Nature spots are always classic and timeless
- Look for versatile locations (varying interesting landscapes and backgrounds)
- Select locations that are somewhat close to each other and the next destination (venue)
- Many indoor locations require pre-approval to photograph and sometimes permits/fees.
