Say hi to Justin...
Hi, I'm Justin. I'm a born and raised Calgarian, husband to Sash, and father to two sons (one's a dog). I love God, my family, playing music, climbing, running, camping, basketball, coffee, and grapes. I'm on an attempted journey to be ambidextrous to make better use of my left arm.
Over the past 8 years, I've been partnering with couples to document their wedding day and engagement sessions. I love being able to help foster and capture a natural and candid environment for couples, and help re-create a creative, visual narrative of the wedding day. What also keeps me refreshed is getting to know our clients and incorporating personal elements into sessions that make it special, unique and fun to who they are as a couple.
Meet Sash...
Hello everyone! I still remember when Justin and I first start dating, he said he wanted to be able to shoot weddings together one day. He started teaching me the basic's of a camera and photography over breakfast in a cafe. Fast forward to today, we've been shooting wedding's together for a few years now, and it's been a crazy adventure! I am so incredibly thankful for the opportunity of meeting so many unique, kind-hearted couples and I adore hearing their love stories :)
On a personal note, what can I tell you about myself? Well...
-I absolutely love the outdoors...I would much rather be outside than indoor's. We look forward to our annual hiking and camping trips where we get to drink instant coffee, shiver together in the cold, and see some of the amazing creation that is around us.
-Cleaning is fun! It brings me a deep satisfaction when I declutter and refresh my space.
-Farmer's markets, coffee shops, cute boutiques. I'm a bigger sucker for spaces that are aesthetically pretty.
-I watch the same 3 movies on Netflix. I sometimes get in trouble for this!
And then there's Walter...
Walter is a 4 year old Goldendoodle, and came all the way from Manitoba. He is a special pup - he absolutely loves to cuddle when he is tired, and he often get's bullied at the dog park by the bigger (and smaller) pups. If you ever get to meet Walter, he will hop right onto your lap, because he has no manners...but also just cause he really adores humans. His favourite foods include blueberries, lettuce, peanut butter, and the occasional piece of chicken. When he is not sleeping, he is usually propped up on the window sill watching squirrels and getting really irritated that he can't chase after them...
