Dan & Jess' Mountain Heli-Elopement
What a beautiful adventure this day was. We started off the trip staying at Baker Creek Mountain Resort the night before and got to hang out, share travel stories and lots of laughter. We also proceeded with an intimate "official signing ceremony" at the cabin and cut cake. The next morning, we met them at their cute little cabin where Dan & Jess got ready together. One of the best things about elopements, is how much extra time there is to enjoy the moment and not feel a time crunch. We definitely got to experience this luxury.
We then proceeded with the first look, and then photos around the serene environment at Baker Creek. After enjoying the views there, we left for the heli-pad, which led us to a super windy mountain ridge. It was special for Dan & Jess to experience the helicopter ride on their wedding day, as they share a love for the outdoors and have shared a heli-ride in the past before. It was the most beautiful view for a ceremony and you couldn't have asked for better weather (minus the wind). After some time on the mountain, we ended off the evening at Abraham Lake for more bone-chilling windy photos. Here's a snapshot of how it looked.
