What started as a simple park ceremony turned into an unexpectedly heartfelt moment when the officiant came prepared with a mini ceremony program, something they hadn’t expected. With just the groom’s brother, the officiant, and his wife present, it felt like a quiet elopement tucked away from the world. It was intimate, emotional, and genuine. After some beautiful, relaxed portraits in the park, we made our way to the restaurant for a tea ceremony with family, where happy tears flowed freely. You could feel how deeply this couple is loved through every smile and tear.
The celebration that followed was anything but ordinary. The couple planned a party full of personality and joy, from a custom vending machine stocked with quirky prizes like noodles, Q-tips, and the infamous “Paul’s Surprise” (a giant fish they wanted to get rid of), to a magician, bubble tea bar, Made by Marcus ice cream, and towers of Krispy Kreme donuts. Every detail reflected their humor, creativity, and care for their guests. It was a celebration that didn’t follow the rules, just love, laughter, and a whole lot of fun.
